The PD-R550 pedal is designed with a highly adjustable spring tension range and a larger entry target so that clipping in and out is stress-free. The extra-wide platform and wide bearing placement ensures the efficient transfer of power from you to the bike. The cleat’s design results in easy and confident walking when you’re off the bike.
Efficient Performance
The extra-wide platform increases the contact surface area between the shoe and pedal for efficient transfer of power. The wide bearing placement evenly distributes force. Combined with the lightweight and stiff composite body, it adds up to the PD-R550 maximizing your power every time you clip in.
User-friendly For All
The PD-R550 has a large entry target for easier engagement with the pedal. The wide spring tension adjustment range allows you to find your perfect tension so that you can clip in and out with confidence. At your mid-ride coffee stop, walk with confidence on the wide, low-profile cleats that don’t need special cleat covers for when you’re off the bike.
